It was a beautiful day on the Island today, as Snowbird flocked to the Schlitterbahn waterpark this afternoon for Winter Texas Music Festival.

The weather is much better! Today was a beautiful day on the beach, sitting at about 60 degrees with a gentle breeze. This photos were taken from behind the La Quinta Inn & Suites and Best Western La Copa Inn & Suites Beach Front Resort Hotels.

Here are pictures of the beach behind the La Quinta Inn & Suites. Today, there were record-cold temperatures dipping into the upper 30′s (degrees F) due to the infamous arctic blast that ripped through the United States in early January, 2010. This was something of a freak occurrence for us, considering the average highs in January are in the upper 60′s.
